TOY : BOX er en meget limiteret specialudgave af David Bowies legendariske, uudgivne studiealbum TOY. Albummet er baseret på en “Capture the moment” tilgang til hele processen i både indspildningen og tilvirkningen af sleeve artworket, der er designet af Bowie. Coveret viser et billede af Bowie som barn med et voksent ansigt. Boxen indeholder også en 16-siders booklet med hidtil usete fotografier af Frank Ockenfels 3. Desuden er der alternative mixes og versioner, herunder tiltænkte B-sider, f.eks. alternative versioner af Bowie’s debutsingle “Liza Jane” samt sangen “In The Heat Of The Morning”, senere mixes af Tony Visconti og Tibet-versionen af ‘Silly Boy Blue’ med Philip Glass på klaver og Moby på guitar. Endeligt forefindes der et “Unplugged & Somewhat Slightly Electric” mix af 13 numre fra TOY-albummet.
